The Fool – Card

Meaning: The Fool is the zero card of Tarot. It is therefore associated with wholeness and origins. From an astrological perspective, Uranus and Mercury are associated with The Fool, symbolizing impulsiveness, spontaneity, madness, and curiosity. The Fool represents the emptiness that symbolizes all possibilities. This arcana heralds a moment of elinquishment in which matter is despised and one wanders without destiny, in search of new paths, free from thoughts. The Fool sees realities higher than those hitherto experienced. It shows us a human being at its beginning, without life experience, devoid of malice, buoyant, carefree, and charismatic. He does not worry about tomorrow, nor about today, he simply travels through life. The Fool does not stand for any life stage; we are, rather, searching for our path. This card has a highly spiritual meaning. It represents the new-born innocent child.

With regard to Love, this card indicates a deep desire for new emotions and adventures. It points to difficulties in keeping commitments, reminding us that trust is necessary for relationships to flourish.

With regard to Work, The Fool represents the arcana of freedom, the search for new paths, and may therefore indicate a professional or employment change.

With regard to Health, this card may indicate neglected health care. Weaknesses: ankles, feet and nails.
