Astrology

What is it?

Astrology is characterized by a study, which aims to analyze all the celestial bodies existing in the Universe, and in turn, the influence and relationship that these bodies have in the life of each living being, and even on the planet Earth itself. There are events and influences that are guided by the vibration and energy of a certain celestial body, such as the Moon, its influence on the tides, the mood of women, crops, etc.

Many consider Astrology a pseudoscience, others a divinatory art, or even a social and human science, the fact is that Astrology has existed since the third millennium BC, for the most varied purposes, until today.

What is the relationship between Astrology and the Horoscope?

The Horoscope is the main tool of Astrology. Also called an astrological chart, or birth chart, the horoscope is a prediction, a two-dimensional map, which represents the position of celestial bodies on a given date, taking into consideration, aspects such as the position of these bodies in relation to the signs of the zodiac, time of birth or date, absolute and relative position of these bodies within one of the systems of astrological houses and relationship of the celestial bodies to each other.

There are, however, differences in the way these basic supports are used in different traditions / cultures. Many developed, when observing the sky, one or another type of calendar, to measure the variations of the climate during the year, others had as primary function of these calendars, the forecast of cyclical events on which human survival depended, such as the arrival of rain or cold.

This empirical knowledge was the basis for varying classifications of celestial bodies.
